Posted on September 25, 2007 09:32 pm by Tom KrushJames did a great job designing the Ministry(Starter) interface but we are really pushing for people to work in an environment that they enjoy and work efficiently.
Calendars
Calendars in Ministry(Starter) support most of the iCalendar format. You can take advantage of programs such as Apple iCal and Google Calendars and write your calendars there, thus you don't need to learn any new software. We also support exporting and subscribing of Ministry(Starter) calendars.
Templates
Every developer has a favorite code editor. Usually the developer is torn from there environment to work inside of a small text-area that rarely supports advanced color coding and line numbers. Instead of investing in an advanced code editor, James told me to build a way for developers to hit a button and the code to appear in there text editor. We call this method of editing "External Template Editing". For the Coda users out their we offer a mode that will color our xml tags
Blogging & Photos
On your iPhone you have a few pictures and a short article. Instead of going into Ministry(Starter) and adding everything manually, you can instead pop and email to Ministry(Starter) and every thing will be added for you.
